The Reserve Bank of India absorbed net liquidity of ₹1,71,858 crore through its operations conducted on October 25, 2026, according to the central bank’s money-market operations statement. The amount reflects ₹2,01,337 crore placed under the one-day Standing Deposit Facility (SDF), partly offset by ₹29,479 crore availed through the one-day Marginal Standing Facility (MSF).

The RBI’s statement lists both the SDF and MSF operations as maturing on October 26, 2026. The SDF carried a current rate of 5.25%, while the MSF carried a rate of 5.75%. The release reports no fixed-rate or variable-rate repo or reverse-repo operation for the day.

When outstanding operations are included, the RBI reported net liquidity absorption of ₹39,082.95 crore. Outstanding operations represented net liquidity injection of ₹1,32,775.05 crore, while the day’s operations resulted in absorption of ₹1,71,858 crore. The RBI calculates net liquidity as repo plus MSF plus the Standing Liquidity Facility, minus reverse repo and SDF.

Outstanding SDF stood at ₹2,737 crore from October 23 at 5.25%, with no amount shown for October 24.

The RBI also reported ₹10,411.05 crore availed from its Standing Liquidity Facility. The statement notes that this figure includes refinance facilities extended by the RBI. The term segment also showed zero volume across notice money, term money, triparty repo, market repo and corporate-bond repo.
