BKK Press Release Corrections, Complaints & Takedown Policy
Last Updated: [11 October 2026]
Policy Version: PR-TAKEDOWN-1.1
This policy explains how BKK handles requests concerning corrections, complaints, copyright or intellectual-property concerns, privacy issues, disputed information and requests for removal of published Press Release material.
This policy applies to Press Releases submitted to or published through the BKK Press Release service.
1. Purpose
BKK aims to maintain a reliable, responsible and transparent Press Release service.
Where a legitimate concern is raised regarding published material, BKK may review the matter and take appropriate editorial, technical or legal action.
Depending on the circumstances, this may include:
- correcting information;
- adding a clarification;
- updating an article;
- temporarily restricting access;
- removing specific media;
- removing links;
- removing an article;
- declining to make a requested change where the request is not justified.
2. Who Can Submit a Complaint
A complaint or correction request may be submitted by:
- the organisation that submitted the Press Release;
- an authorised representative;
- a person directly affected by the published material;
- a copyright or intellectual-property rights holder;
- a person whose privacy or personal rights may have been affected;
- a government, regulatory or law-enforcement authority;
- another person with a legitimate and identifiable concern.
BKK may request evidence of identity, authority or rights where reasonably necessary.
3. Correction Requests
If you believe a published Press Release contains a factual error, please contact BKK with:
- the URL of the published article;
- the exact statement or section in question;
- the corrected information;
- an explanation of why the existing information is incorrect;
- supporting evidence where available;
- your name and contact information;
- your relationship to the organisation or material concerned.
BKK will review the request and determine the appropriate editorial action.
4. Types of Corrections
Depending on the circumstances, BKK may:
- correct a factual error;
- update outdated information;
- correct a spelling or formatting error;
- clarify ambiguous wording;
- add an editorial clarification;
- update a link;
- remove an inaccurate image or media item;
- publish a correction or clarification note.
Not every requested change will necessarily result in modification of the article.
5. Editorial Disagreement
A person or organisation may disagree with an article without there necessarily being an error.
BKK may decline requests that seek to:
- remove accurate information merely because it is unfavourable;
- rewrite legitimate statements solely for promotional purposes;
- suppress lawful criticism;
- alter editorial presentation without a valid factual, legal, privacy or policy basis.
BKK retains editorial discretion over published material.
6. Copyright and Intellectual-Property Complaints
If you believe that a Press Release, image, video, logo or other material published by BKK infringes your copyright or other intellectual-property rights, please contact:
editorial@businesskaisekarein.com
Your complaint should include:
- the relevant article URL;
- identification of the allegedly infringing material;
- identification of the work or right that you claim has been infringed;
- an explanation of your ownership or authority;
- supporting information or documentation where available;
- your full name;
- contact information;
- any other information reasonably necessary for BKK to evaluate the complaint.
BKK may request additional information before taking action.
7. Image and Media Rights Complaints
Where a complaint concerns an image, photograph, video, logo or other media, please identify:
- the media item;
- where it appears;
- the claimed rights;
- the basis of the complaint;
- supporting evidence where available.
BKK may temporarily restrict or remove disputed media while the matter is reviewed.
8. Privacy Complaints
If you believe that a published Press Release improperly discloses personal information or raises a legitimate privacy concern, contact:
editorial@businesskaisekarein.com
Please identify:
- the article URL;
- the specific information concerned;
- the nature of the privacy concern;
- your relationship to the information;
- supporting information where appropriate.
BKK will assess the matter in accordance with applicable law and its privacy policies.
9. Defamation or Serious Allegations
Complaints concerning allegations about an individual or organisation should clearly identify:
- the exact statement being challenged;
- why the statement is alleged to be false, misleading or otherwise unlawful;
- relevant supporting information or evidence;
- the complainant’s relationship to the matter.
BKK may seek clarification, supporting documentation or a response from relevant parties where appropriate.
Nothing in this policy requires BKK to remove material merely because a person disagrees with it.
10. Legal, Regulatory or Government Requests
BKK may respond to valid requests, notices, orders or directions issued by competent courts, government authorities, regulators or law-enforcement agencies in accordance with applicable law.
Where legally permitted and reasonably appropriate, BKK may communicate with affected parties concerning such matters.
11. Fraudulent or Misleading Content
BKK may investigate complaints concerning:
- fraudulent claims;
- fabricated credentials;
- fake awards;
- false government affiliations;
- misleading financial claims;
- deceptive business claims;
- impersonation;
- manipulated or deceptive media;
- other materially misleading information.
Where appropriate, BKK may correct, restrict, suspend or remove the relevant content.
12. Takedown Requests
A request to remove an entire published Press Release should explain:
- the article URL;
- the specific reason for requesting removal;
- the complainant’s identity and relationship to the matter;
- supporting evidence where applicable;
- the requested remedy.
BKK will consider the request based on the circumstances and applicable law.
A request for removal does not automatically guarantee removal.
13. Circumstances in Which BKK May Remove Content
BKK may remove or restrict a published Press Release where reasonably necessary because of:
- legal requirements;
- court or regulatory directions;
- copyright or intellectual-property concerns;
- serious factual inaccuracies;
- fraud;
- materially misleading information;
- privacy concerns;
- security concerns;
- unlawful content;
- serious policy violations;
- malicious links or harmful material;
- technical or operational requirements.
14. Customer-Requested Removal
The organisation or person who submitted a Press Release may request removal of its published material.
BKK will consider the request in light of:
- the reason for the request;
- applicable legal obligations;
- rights of third parties;
- the public or informational significance of the material;
- contractual terms;
- editorial considerations;
- whether correction or clarification is more appropriate than removal.
Submission of a removal request does not itself guarantee deletion.
15. Corrections Instead of Removal
Where a legitimate concern can be adequately addressed through correction or clarification, BKK may choose to correct or update the material instead of removing the entire Press Release.
This may be appropriate where:
- the core announcement remains accurate;
- only a limited portion is incorrect;
- updated information is available;
- removal would be disproportionate to the identified issue.
16. Temporary Restriction During Review
Where a complaint raises a potentially serious legal, safety, privacy or rights issue, BKK may temporarily restrict access to the affected material while reviewing the matter.
Such temporary action does not necessarily indicate that the complaint has been accepted.
17. Response Time
BKK will endeavour to review legitimate complaints within a reasonable period.
The time required may depend on:
- complexity of the complaint;
- availability of supporting evidence;
- involvement of third parties;
- legal or regulatory considerations;
- volume of requests;
- technical circumstances.
Urgent matters involving serious safety, privacy, copyright or legal concerns should be clearly identified as such.
18. Abuse of the Complaint Process
BKK may decline to process complaints that are:
- clearly fraudulent;
- abusive;
- threatening;
- repetitive without new information;
- intended solely to harass;
- submitted with knowingly false information;
- unrelated to the published material.
Nothing in this section prevents a legitimate complaint from being reconsidered when meaningful new information is provided.
19. Good-Faith Complaints
BKK encourages complaints to be made in good faith.
Customers and third parties should provide accurate information and relevant evidence when raising a complaint.
False or intentionally misleading complaints may themselves be considered a violation of BKK policies.
20. Editorial Independence
BKK retains editorial independence in deciding whether published material should be:
- retained;
- corrected;
- clarified;
- modified;
- restricted;
- removed.
A complaint does not automatically determine the editorial outcome.
